I designed and sourced costumes for a contemporary horror short film. It was about a young girl whose grandparents discover is immortal so they harvest her organs to sell. There were special effects involved that required me and a makeup artist to use fake blood and a bullet hole prosthetic. I stretched the budget to accommodate duplicates, which came in handy when working with the blood and outside in rain and mud. When a storm delayed my online orders I shopped last minute for garments locally. Working with a young 6 year old girl I made sure she was comfortable hanging out in the dressing room.
